The 6 Churches in our Benefice are very active and there are many ways in which you can get involved. Just look at some of the information about activities that are going on regularly or speak to a member of the congregation or clergy.
Here is a list of some of the activities that you could get involved with:
Helping with services - reading a lesson, leading intercessions, be a sides person, welcoming worshipers, serving at altar, assisting with communion.
Caring for our Church buildings - join a 'Friends' group (all three churches in Calne & Blackland have one), help with church cleaning, help with flower arranging, join Church Watch to help keep St. Mary's open for visitors.
Join the choir - see Caspar Bush for more information.
Come to Cameo - 'Come and meet each other', a regular social afternoon in Church House where all are welcome.
Serve coffee - after 10am service at St. Mary's, Calne
Other Groups - Healing team, social events group, children's activities (see page on Messy Church)
